You disappeared shortly after, yes. I don't have any data as to whether or not you were able to pay off the fine, but considering your previous status and no arrangement I was aware of, I would estimate community service was the only viable option.

The bracelet was given to us upon our initial arrival into the program. We were...the first round of subjects. Each bracelet had a word. Some were able to remove theirs immediately, including me. Others were unable to as a predicted punishment for some transgression. You were angry when I wasn't able to break it at maximum strength.

You did manage to get it off, but I'm not sure what that entailed. I wasn't privy to your methods.

[that's partly true, he knows. he could confirm it, but he'll have to reveal about his own experiences a bit. seeing as gavin is an a rare, chatty mood...he'll do so.]

I can confirm in part regarding memory loss. Lieutenant Anderson was here right up until you arrived again. There was an accident, and he was killed by a man in broad daylight. Two weeks later he returned--with no memory of having been here. It took several days, but he did regain them.

He was cooperative with what they asked, so I don't think that portion corroborates what your roommate has stated, but it does confirm that memories are a tool that can be manipulated through the LIES program.
