It fluctuates. He's somewhat like a deviant, but rather than self-destruct when I get close to obtaining an answer, he turns to destructing me. The investigation will be slow in light of self preservation.
They say there is little reward without taking risks, RK. I'm inclined to believe that. If I had previously decided to remain a machine and not take the associated dangers of going deviant, imagine where we'd both be now.

That seems like a sound assumption. Resilient as we are, there are still several models that aren't properly equipped with what it would take were they to go up against human counterparts, or other androids.

He's fully grown. If it's so delicate that he needs to pick up the pieces, that seems to be an opportunity for a beneficial lesson.

I think Detective Reed could do with being reminded of the fragility every once in awhile. I've heard enough stories from the Lieutenant about his recklessness in the field aside from poking the proverbial bear that is you.
